The technique replaces conventional primer walking sequencing by simultaneously sequencing the plasmid DNA. It is 10 times faster than the conventional technique when the insert size is bigger than 10 kb, and at least three times faster when the insert size is between 6 and 10 kb. Symo™ Sequencing dramatically reduces the turn-around time and the cost of DNA sequencing.   The application of the Symo™ primer in our DNA sequencing process enables us to perform internal sequencing with labeled primers. Such use of labeled primers improves the sequencing quality and enables Bio S&T's technicians to overcome inserts with high G-C, and strong secondary structures. By combining the advantages of Li-Cor's contemporary technology with Symo™ Sequencing for the reaction preparation, Bio S&T is able to offer its clients the advantage of a true, leading-edge technology in DNA sequencing.
