UltraTaq™ 2X PCR Pre-mix

ULTRAmix 2X PCR premix is an economical, convenient, all-in-one ready-to-use PCR premix (just add template + primers!), that can amplify templates of up to 5 kb.

We offer two convenient formats to allow clients worldwide to choose their preferred shipping method:

1. $85 for 300 PCR reactions (#P500-300 product requires dry ice shipping; recommended for Canada and USA clients)
2. $115 for 300 PCR reactions (#P500-301 product requires room temperature shipping; recommended for International clients)

ULTRAmix 2X PCR premix yields high-quality and consistent results in routine PCR reactions, as well as high-throughput PCR genotyping, colony PCR, RT-PCR and PCR cloning.

PCR reactions can be directly loaded onto an agarose gel without the additional need of loading buffer and dyes. Three dyes help visualize the electrophoresis progress:

1. Blue dye (~4Kb)
2. Red dye (~1Kb)
3. Yellow dye (~0.1Kb)

As an added feature, a positive PCR Control Mix is included. When used with the ULTRAmix 2X PCR premix, a 3kb fragment will be amplified and serve as a positive control.

ULTRAmix 2X PCR premix can be stored at -20oC for 12 months. It remains stable for up to ten (10) freeze-thaw cycles. However, we strongly recommend that freeze-thaw cycles be minimized.

PCR activity of ULTRAmix 2X PCR premix is tested to ensure consistent high performance and efficient routine PCR amplifications using a variety of templates and primers. Nicking activity, endonuclease and exonuclease activity are not detected.
