Partially purified tRNATrp
tRNATrp is a primer of
reverse transcriptase of Avian retroviruses (except ASNV).
tRNATrp is extracted
from human placenta with the following procedures: (1) the extraction of total
RNA by phenol-chloroform; (2) the chromatogram extraction of total tRNA with
DE52; and (3) the chromatogram separation of total tRNATrp from
total tRNA with DEAE-Sephadex (A50).
Aminoacylation of tRNA with H3-lableled lysine using aminoacyl tRNA
synthetase from bovine liver is used for detection.
This product can be used to initiate reverse transcription or to carry out
hybridization in a specific, but an unquantitative manner.
For
long-term storage (years), it is recommended that this product be stored at -80
degrees at a concentration of no less than 0.5mg/ml. For short-term
storage, this product is stable at -20 degrees for a minimum of one year.
